We picked up more passengers in Banff. The train was full.


It was a bit foggy and rainy at first, but it cleared in a couple hours.

Craigellachie, British Columbia - where the last spike was driven connecting the Canadian transcontinental railroad. It was done with a regular iron spike (the railroad could not afford a gold one by then) the whereabouts of which is not known.
