The Devonian Gardens is located on the upper levels of a shopping "mall" that covers several downtown blocks in Calgary. It's free! The Devonian Gardens will close October 1, 2008 for about 18 months of refurbishment.
We discovered a fine Italian restaurant, Bonterra. Olive lovers will like their olive samplers; everything was good.
FYI, Cieli's Irish Pub isn't much of either.
