Below left, two boys work on ground texturing in the foreground, and two girls do the same at the far end of the platform. One applies the thinned white glue while the other follows behind and applies the "gravel" (or "grass" or "dirt"). At right, you can see the roads being painted as well as the green texturing materials in the girl's bowl. The beat goes on... Every student in the classroom today got time at the platform. Generally, railroading time is during the last 50 minutes of the day. Students rotate in and out of the railroad "center" from and to other centers with the teacher or independent work.
