PB&JRR Toured by Conventioneers
May 3, 1894*
Fosterville (AP) - James Trevorsky, the Fosterville section manager for the PB&JRR, was pleased with the turnout to the PB&JRR by rail fans attending a convention in San Luis Obispo. "Over 40 people toured the facilities this evening, enjoying every minute of it!", he said.
Attendees were from the "2001: A Train Odyssey" conducted by the San Luis Obispo Model Railroad Club acting on behalf of the Pacific Coast Region of the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA).
Included in the tour of the PB&JRR layout was the newly renovated PB&JRR offices immediately adjacent to the railroad grounds. "It's the best 1894* has to offer", remarked one enthusiastic observer.
Lynn Tracelet, owner/operator of the Princess Farmstead was also delighted at such a positive reaction to the farmstead, and the doll house in particular. "We just completed our new farm house and I'm so excited about everyone coming by to see it!"
A "Fact Sheet" (in PDF format, 135Kb) was made available to the attendess by the management of the PB&JRR. [Adobe Acrobat Reader (it's free)]
