December 19-24, 25, 26, 27-29, 2007 Christmas in Sedona, Arizona ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A couple views from the tourist shop area (north end of town along 89A). ![]() ![]() In the fudge shop. We had a fabulous dinner at Dahl & DiLucas. For a linen tablecloth place, they were unbelievably family friendly. No kids menu, but they'll make most any kind of light-sauce pasta AND all menu items are available to kids as a half order. They also have another location on the other side of town, Cucina Rustica. The Barking Frog turned out to be another excellent kid-friendly higher-end restaurant. The guacamole made tableside is excellent, and all entrees were delicious. Don't miss the sweet potato-stuffed pablano pepper. We can also attest to Rene at Tlaquepaque. Very good food, nice wine list. We did not test the kid-friendliness of this restaurant. Sedona does have a micro-brew: Oak Creek Brewing Company. The brewery is near (behind) the Basha's center where they do have a bar and outdoor/firepit area. They also have a restaurant at Tlaquepaque where the food is pretty good and you can sample all seven brews for $10. You should try the fried pickle appetizer. Kids were welcome at the restaurant. December 28: ![]() The Wildflower Bread Company at Pinon Pointe (89A and 179) became our favorite breakfast spot. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The view behind the Chapel of the Holy Cross. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Those are real apples in the decorations.
