7.5: Silver Spike Moment

A quiet "Silver Spike Moment" was observed today when the last tie was installed in the first complete loop on the PB&J Railroad. The spot is marked with silver-colored "spikes" (really screws), see below.
The track is complete all the way around to the original starting point at the gate.
See the silver-colored "spikes" in the center tie.
A view of the "Silver Spike" spot (about where the spare tie lies next to the track) from the backyard out to the driveway and street. With some ballast and grading we should have an operable loop!
Later in the evening, Jon works on the controller box of the Huskie kit.
While Trevor works on the drive train.
