When it rains in California, people die. And the rail line has not yet made it to this site, so no heavy equipment will be available for some time.
And there's a third building, the manager's shack, completely submerged. The engineer who claimed the mine was at a 500-year flood level has been tarred, feathered, and run out of town on the rails.
This is the first time both basins have been full since the PB&JRR moved here. And the rains continue...
