July 12, 2005The first 30-foot section of track is completed, and the first car arrives! Matt loads some buckets from the first ton of gravel.  Sam does a little track cleaning.  Removing the center section of the tie plates that were used for spacing purposes. 
 Left: this 30-foot section is fairly complete now. Right: 2/3s of the center plate sections have been removed.  The pure joy of railroading!
