Most of today's PCRR train crew were Bitter Creek Western folks, including Jeff, Karl, Bill, Dennis, Jared, Harry, Patti, Lynne, Mary, Steve, Paul, and Jamie. Crew briefing. Volvo Test Track. Under one of the big tops. The ranch house was open for visiting. They were filming a commercial. Special cooking classes were going on in the Assistencia. Sunset Magazine was filming segments of the event, including the Pacific Coast Railroad! Sunset's 2-acre garden planted just for this event. There was a 30% chance of rain Saturday afternoon, but fortunately nothing materialized. |
Sunset Magazine's "Savor the Central Coast" was held at the Santa Margarita Ranch this weekend, and the Pacific Coast Railroad provided train rides for the attendees. The ranch headquarters house was open. There was music going all day. The Charles Paddock Zoo brought some critters with them! Pomar Junction Winery is a rail-themed winery in north county. |
