The NASA Student Launch will be held May 15-17 at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Tooele County, Utah. There, the student teams will undergo a rigorous launch readiness review — just like actual NASA flight missions — and launch their rockets. Up to 20,000 feet! While it is too late to become involved this academic year, it is not too early to start working toward next year’s program (2014-2015). If next year’s schedule is similar to this year’s, the initial RFP will come out in early November and responses will be due later in November.
