May 25, 2015Atascadero Zoo We celebrated Memorial Day by visiting the Atascadero Zoo.   Serafina borrowed Nana's old school camera and took a crack at photography.  Matteo spotted this reptile on the tree in the middle of the tiger cage.  I swear he was tracking AJ. I get that same look watching AJ.     I did not doctor that smile at all.   Wallabies. AJ's current favorite SLOCA reading book is "Katy No Pockets."    The meerkats are always a kick and a half.      Red Panda     See the coin in the very upper right. Definitely a pleaser for our crowd.      Lemur            Then on to the nearby playground.            He saw me and started posing!  There was a huge Memorial Day event going on right next door.
