October 31, 2013Halloween Party at the Compound Oh my... Bobbing for doughnuts, haunted hallway, yucky things to smell, even yuckier things to feel, cookies to decorate, trick or treating from door to door, and all this on a stomach full of mummy dogs. I think the final headcount was about 25 kids and 60 total.         Glow-in-the-dark tea cups.  Name that smell.     Holy Halloween, Batman, I'm not sure I want to go in there...           Into the Haunted Hallway.    Mummy Dogs.   Spell a word, get a prize. All the more for spooky words.  "Jack Skellington"  The 2013 Halloween Spirit Award, Adult Category, goes to.... "Jack"!       "Uh, Batman?..."                       Exiting the Haunted Hallway.    Get it?   Drop the clothespin into the narrow-mouthed jug. Hard to do without cheating.         The last event was trick or treating from door to door. (The house has many exterior doors.)  Everyone had to pass through the Haunted Hallway some more to get to all the doors.
