October 7, 2012The Far Western Tavern's last day in Guadalupe In some sort of aligning of the stars, Rob and Jamie happened to have a Santa Maria Valley Railroad meeting at the Far Western Tavern on the occasion of its last day open in Guadalupe. Guadalupe, the Far Western, and the SMVRR go way back together. Come the end of October, the Far Western will reopen in a brand new building in Old Orcutt on Clark Avenue.            We just happened to be there for a joy-ride through the bar on motorcycle! KSBY was there, too; they had to have run that footage that night!        I had the Cowboy Steak Hash Chili Relleno. Wow.   You gotta know where this was...  And this...      Fate would also have it that we drove by the new location in Old Town Orcutt on the way to a railroad display further east just off Clark Avenue.
