Kitchen update: appliances arrive!

Here comes the mega forklift.

Three pallets to lift.

Note the missing section of deck railing.

A forklift high-five.

And in what seemed like no time, he was done and gone. Elapsed time: 22 minutes. Of course, we did forget to lower the old fridge down to the driveway, but Matt B. took care of that later using the brute-force method.

That's half of the new fridge being unboxed.

Note the "LP" in the range serial number - yeah!

They put down a lot of this thick, white matting to protect the new floor.

There were more parts around, and the thickest instruction booklets...

Remember the old fridge that didn't get lifted down? It got lifted down by hand.

Tight fit.

Very tight fit. Matt B. had to strip it all the way down.

And even with the fridge stripped, the weather stripping around the door had to be removed.

Matt's office gets the "old" fridge.

Hinges in the back hold the two refrigerator sections together.
