April 2, 2011 Central Coast Greenhouse Growers Association Open House Nursery Tours We only managed to stop at one of the eight (or so) nurseries - Eufloria Flowers. First thing we discovered was the kids table... Including a tour inside one of the greenhouses. The nursery within the nursery was very humid. Our guide said he has been with Eufloria since 1980. He clearly loves his roses. They pick twice a day, sometimes three, and today was no exception. The only other part of the event we hit was the Flower Center at Edwards Barn (Pomeroy Road). The FFA folks were doing all kinds of interesting things, including letting the kids re-pot some plants and take them home! Jamie Foster Photography
