November 14, 2010 Grape Pressing Matt, Sam, Matteo, and Jamie joined Fausto, Gary, and David for a morning of grape pressing - cabernet sauvignon. Bring along a few trucks for the boys and they'll play for hours! The receiving barrels stay in the truck. That's what happens when the cork goes in the bottle. The grapes were crushed about a week ago. Fausto prepared lunch. That's the "cake" (obviously) left over after the grapes have been pressed. Nothing like lunch in a golf cart! On the way home, Matteo studied some of the Santa Maria Valley Railroad's marketing material... He was asleep by the time we hit the Village.
